Special handling of SSN As some Users are sensitive to how their TIN (dusSSN) information is displayed, there are some Pensra specific modifications. The following may not be a complete compilation of the Pensra restrictions to access dusSSN information.
1) When a robot or Visitor accesses the page Information:Locations, a SQL command is run to set dusSSN to null for any User that has not logged on in the last 3 years . See Setting=UserProfile. UserProfile is treated as an Alert and the page Information:Locations is established at Setting=Alerts .
2) Setting=AuditExceptions is used to reduce the number of entries created in the Audit table AND to NOT make Audit entries to any change to a User's dusSSN. This is because the Audit table entry would display the dusSSN with no controls as to who can see the Audit table entry. Consequently, the SQL in 1) above can erase a User's SSN and there is no Audit table record display that this occurred.
3) At Treasurer:Manage-Users, only the last four digits of dusSSN is displayed to the Treasurer UNLESS the User has an Accounting table entry that corresponds with the Positions for the Treasurer. This permits the Treasurer to see the dusSSN of those Referees that the Treasurer has responsibility to pay, but cannot see the entire dusSSN of other Referees.
