Introduction to the Pensra Website - NorCal Premier STAR
The NorCal Premier competitive soccer organization has a STAR (Specially Trained Adult Referee) program directed at parents. STAR referees:
- undergo a minimal amount of training to have some understanding of the laws of soccer and the responsibilities of the referees.
- assist referees as club linespersons.
- assist referees by explaining the laws to other spectators
- assist referees in the pre match and post match duties
- fill in as a referee in the event that the assigned referee is unavailable
