How to use relative dates?Printable

In several places in this website, you can use "relative dates" instead of an "absolute" date.

Absolute Date
is in the format of DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY
Relative Date
is an expression choosing a date relative to now.

Examples of relative dates

  • tomorrow
  • yesterday
  • last week
  • last Monday
  • Tuesday
  • next month
  • -2 weeks
  • +5 days
  • today

There are many more possible relative date expressions. The above ones are the most useful. For a complete discussion see RidgeStar Dates and Times->

Beginning of Time

If no entry is available for a Date/Time, the website will interpret this time to 12/31/1969 at 4:00 PM. If you ever see this time associated with data in the website, it means that the Date/Time is missing, null or set to zero.
